Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Windhoek / Kalahari Desert
Upon arrival at Windhoek International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with the collection of your hired vehicle, go through your itinerary and answer any questions that you may have. From here you will depart for Intu Africa Zebra Lodge. Lunch will be enjoyed at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Intu Africa Zebra Lodge.
Day 2 – Kalahari Desert / Namib Desert
After breakfast at the Lodge you will depart for the Namib Desert. Lunch is at leisure en route. Dinner and overnight at Hoodia Tented Camp.
Day 3 – Namib Desert
The Namib Desert is reputed to be the oldest Desert in the World, with some of the highest sand dunes found at Sossusvlei. This morning an early rise will be required, with an early morning excursion to Sossusvlei and visit of the Sesriem Canyon. Half board at Hoodia Tented Camp.
Day 4 – Namib Desert / Swakopmund
After a hearty breakfast at the Lodge, you will depart for the coastal town Swakopmund, Namibia’s playground. En route you will have the opportunity to visit the Welwitschia Drive, with some of the oldest examples of this ‘living fossil’ dwarf tree and stop at the viewpoints over the Moon Valley. Lunch and dinner at leisure. Overnight at Hansa Hotel.
Day 5 – Swakopmund
Today you have an entire day at leisure to explore the little slice of Bavaria that is Swakopmund, or visit the Walvis Bay lagoon for optional activities. These include, but are not limited to: such as scenic flights, boat excursions on the Walvis Bay lagoon, quad-bikes, sand-boarding, sky-diving, and ‘zorbing’. Lunch and dinner at leisure.
Day 6 – Swakopmund / Damaraland
After breakfast at the Guesthouse you will depart for Damaraland. En route you are welcome to visit Cape Cross Seal colony. Lunch will be enjoyed at leisure. During the afternoon you will have the opportunity to explore the home of Namibia’s first UNESCO World heritage site, the rock paintings at Twyfelfontein, where over 2,500 paintings and rock engravings have been identified. The visit will also include the Organ Pipes.
Dinner and overnight at Twyfelfontein Lodge.
Day 7 – Damaraland / Etosha National Park
Breakfast at the lodge and depart for the Etosha National Park en route you will visit the Petrified Forest and have lunch at leisure. This afternoon can be spent on a Game drive in the Etosha with your hired vehicle. Dinner at leisure and overnight at Okaukuejo Camp (waterhole chalet).
Day 8 & 9 – Etosha National Park
Today is completely dedicated to game viewing in the Etosha National Park, which is home to 114 species of mammal, including four of the big five and over 300 species of bird. Game drives can be done in your hire vehicle or you are welcome to join the rest camp for a guided drive through the National Park. Lunch will be enjoyed at leisure. On day 9 you will travel to Namutoni Rest Camp to overnight.
Day 10 – Etosha National Park / Windhoek
After breakfast at Namutoni Rest Camp you will depart for Waterberg Plateau Park where you will again enjoy PM Game Drives. Lunch and dinner at leisure. Overnight at Waterberg Rest Camp.
Day 11 – Windhoek / Departure
After breakfast at the Rest Camp you will depart to Windhoek via Okahandja and on arrival in Windhoek City, time permit you will go to buy the final souvenirs before heading to Windhoek International Airport in time for vehicle drop off and check-in on your departure flight.

For Self-drive tours, the following will be required:
- A driver’s license in English or an International driver’s license is required
